This katsina doll is carved by Arlye Polequaptewa from Second Mesa

He is 6" tall to the top of his head and 8 1/2" overall.

Notice the teeth and the snout on this badger. Excellent feather work too.

Honankatsina is a Badger Katsina, and appears during Angk’wa or the summer katsina day dances. He provides the herbal medicine and represents the medicinal culture, and also serves as a messenger for rain.
